This project was part of a student competition during my studies at Burke Akademie, created as a client project in collaboration with Anna Hofbauer. With this campaign, our goal was simple yet powerful: make people smile. We set out to create a visual world that sticks in people’s minds while positioning MICE Portal as a friendly, accessible platform for everyone involved in event planning.
At the heart of the concept is language, specifically idioms. Across all cultures, idioms are a universal part of everyday speech. They make us laugh, they’re easy to remember, and they often say more than a thousand words. By incorporating playful idiomatic expressions into the campaign, we aimed to build instant emotional connection and memorability.
To bring this to life, we developed a suite of vibrant visuals and witty copy that translated common idioms into the context of event planning. This made them not just relatable, but also distinctly MICE Portal. From digital ads to social media content and print collateral, each touchpoint was designed to reinforce the brand’s personality: warm, approachable, and full of wit.
The result? A campaign that didn’t just speak to people, it spoke like them. One that broke through the noise with humor, heart, and a fresh visual identity. We didn’t just communicate MICE Portal’s functionality; we made people feel good about using it. The idea was clear: make MICE Portal unforgettable. When someone thinks about planning an event, MICE Portal should be their first stop.
